A positive business trend is being observed in Pakistan Stock Exchange today.


The Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 index rose by 92 points to 45,094.


Yesterday, the 100 index closed at 45 thousand 2 points.


Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) had a dull trading day today, where the 100 index lost a whopping 1242 points.


The PSX benchmark 100 index closed at 45,020 points at the end of trading after the decline.


The 100 index fell by 3032 points in the month of August, while the index remained in the band of 4944 points for the entire month.


In the month of August, the highest level of the index was 49 thousand 404 while the lowest level was 44 thousand 459.



In August 2023, 6 billion 53 crore shares were traded, the value of which was 253 billion rupees.


Similarly, the market capitalization decreased by 515 billion rupees in one month to 6 thousand 715 billion rupees at the end of August.


In the open market, the dollar became 330 rupees

The US dollar has become cheaper today in the interbank market, while it has become more expensive in the open market.


305 rupees became 50 paise after the dollar became cheaper by 4 paise in interbank.


Yesterday, the dollar closed at 305 rupees 54 paise in the interbank.


In the open market, the dollar became 330 rupees after becoming expensive by 4 rupees.


At the close of business yesterday, the dollar was at Rs 326 in the open market.
