Asia Cup 2023: India complete 100 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs

Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli while Haris Rauf took two wickets.
As soon as the match resumed after the rain stopped, Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled Rohit Sharma on the last ball of the fifth over.
After which India's veteran batsman Virat Kohli came to the crease to support Shibman Gill. Shaheen Afridi continued his tight bowling and bowled newcomer Virat Kohli, scoring four runs off seven balls with just one four.
At the end of seven overs, India scored 30 runs while two of its players had returned to the pavilion.
National captain Babar Azam decided to test Haris Rauf, but in his over Shreyas Iyer hit 2 brilliant fours, Rauf conceded 12 runs.
From the second end, Shaheen Shah Afridi's aggressive bowling continued, he did not concede any runs in the ninth over and kept Shabman Gul troubled.
Haris Rauf bowled well in his second over and had Shreyas Iyer caught out by Fakhar Zaman, he scored 14 runs off nine balls.
On the total score of 66, Haris Rauf bowled Shubman Gill while bowling brilliantly. He scored ten runs.
Ishan Kishan has continued his responsible batting streak from the other end and is looking to form a partnership with Hardik Pandya.
India have so far scored 108 runs for the loss of four wickets in 21 overs.
In the third match of the Asia Cup in Kandy, Sri Lanka, the teams of Pakistan and India are competing and the Indian captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and decided to bat first.
Rohit Sharma has said that Jasprit Bumrah, Shreyas Iyer, Hardik Pandya, Shardal Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja have been included in the team.
Talking during the toss, Pakistani captain Babar Azam said that he also wanted to bat first after winning the toss. Babar said that no changes have been made in the team.
He said that the players have played a lot of cricket in Sri Lanka last month so they are familiar with the conditions here.
But in the meantime, the news of rain has worried the fans of both the countries. The ground was covered with covers due to light rain before the match, but the covers were removed when the sky cleared.
