Food traditions and wisdom
Food is a very sweet blessing of Allah, may He be exalted and exalted be He, in it there are various pleasures for us. Eating halal food according to Shariat and Sunnah with good intentions is a reward. (i.e. I will wash both hands and the front part of the mouth) before eating I will recite Bismillah and other duas and make small mouthfuls with three fingers and chew well. (1) Wash your hands before eating.
Wisdom: Hands are usually contaminated by working, there is a fear of spreading diseases by eating without washing hands. "The ablution of food removes the need, increases good in the house, drives away the devil, and there is openness in sustenance.

(2) Chew the food well and eat it.
(3) Do not eat too hot food.
Hikmat: There is a risk of burning the mouth and it is also in the Holy Hadith: There is no blessing in eating hot food.
Wisdom: Eating while sitting on the floor improves digestion, improves flexibility in back and leg muscles and relieves pain, blood circulation also improves, resulting in better heart health while patients, especially heart attack The fear is greatly reduced.
(5) Take off your shoes before eating.
(6) Whenever you eat, put your feet upside down and stand straight or
(7) Sit on a chair and keep both knees straight or
(8) Sit on two knees.
(9) Avoid eating while leaning. The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: "Do not eat while leaning."
Wisdom: Leaning makes the stomach expand, thus unnecessary food will enter the stomach and digestion will be disturbed, eating while leaning causes damage to the intestines and liver. (Faizan-e-Sunnah, vol. 1, p. 253)
(10) Before eating, read the name of Allah, the Merciful.
(11) If you forget to read Bismillah at the beginning of the meal, then when you remember, read Bismillah Awallah Waakhirah.
(12) Eat food with the right hand, because eating and drinking with the wrong hand is the way of Satan. The rays of the right hand are beneficial and those of the opposite hand are harmful.
(13) Do not eat food on full stomach because it has physical and spiritual harm. The beloved Master, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "A man does not fill a vessel with more than his stomach. A few bites are enough for a man to keep his back straight. If he can do so, then one-third should be for food, one-third for water and one-third for breathing." (Ibn Majah, vol. 4, p. 48, Hadith: 3349)
(14) After finishing eating, lick your fingers because the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) used to lick his fingers after eating. (Majjam al-Zawaid, vol. 5, p. 23, Hadith: 7923, Muqtaqat)
Wisdom: This process is extremely beneficial for the eyes, brain and stomach and it is a great cure for heart, stomach and brain diseases. Wisdom: It protects against kidney and bladder diseases.
May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to eat according to the Sunnah. Amen in the name of the Prophet, peace be upon him and peace be upon him.
