The order of the court to demolish the 6 storied building on the plot of Liaquatabad C1 area

SBCA ( Sindh Building Control Authority)

The Sindh High Court, while ordering the demolition of the 6-storey building on the plot of Liaquatabad C1 area, also ordered to file a case against the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) officers and the builder involved in the illegal construction.
Sindh High Court heard an application against illegal constructions in Liaquatabad C1 area. The court directed the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Central and the police to assist the SBCA to demolish the illegal building and submit a report on December 14.
The court sacked Director General (DG) SBCA Ishaq Khoro for not following the order for 4 years.
Ishaq Khoro gave a statement in the court and said that he is trying to take action against the illegal constructions with all his heart. Action was not taken against.
The court remarked that the SBCA itself had said in 2019 that the building was constructed illegally, DG SBCA said that as soon as the case came to me, I initiated the action.
The Sindh High Court said that when the illegal constructions were taking place, why not stop the constructions? Ishaq Khoro said that people settled in the building. In response, the court said that when there is no action for four years, people will just go and settle down, only people of SBCA are involved in illegal constructions.
The court remarked that now you have to bear the consequences, you are responsible for everything, if you cannot work then you have no right to stay in office.
The Sindh High Court remarked that since four years we have been speaking to reveal the names of those involved in illegal constructions. Can you tell me how many days this building will be demolished? The court will not accept this excuse either. People have settled in the building and they cannot do anything.
The court rejected the request of the residents to become a party to the petition.
