Pakistani mountaineers Shahruz Kashif and Naila Kayani created a new history.
Shahruz Kashif, the youngest Pakistani mountaineer who has climbed 12 peaks above 8000 meters, has climbed Mount Manaslu, the eighth highest peak in the world, for the second time.
Shahroz Kashif managed to reach the 'real summit' point of the 8 thousand 163 meter high peak, he was part of Seven Summit Trek.
The young mountaineer first summited Mount Manaslu in 2021, later in 2021 it was revealed that the actual summit point of Manaslu was a few meters further, after which he announced to summit Manaslu again.
Now he has asked Manaslu to resume through social media account 'X'.
Apart from this, other 2 climbers from Pakistan have also managed to reach the base camp of the 8 thousand 136 meters high Manaslu Peak.
Naila Kayani and Sarbaz Khan, who were part of the Imagine Nepal expedition team, both managed to reach Base Camp One, reported Dawn newspaper.
Naila Kayani told Dawn that she will be able to reach the summit by September 21.
If she succeeds in climbing the peak, it will be Naila Kayani's 9th peak above 8000 meters, she has so far climbed 8 peaks above 8000 meters including K To, Nanga Parbat, Lotse, Anna. Includes Purna, Gesher Brim. One, Gesherbrum Two and Broad Peak and others included.
Apart from this, 32-year-old Sarbaz Khan from Aliabad, Hunza, who started his mountaineering career in 2016, is also included.
He has scaled 12 of the 14 peaks above 8,000 meters, in 2019 he became the first Pakistani to scale the world's fourth highest peak, Lotse, at 8,516 meters in Nepal, without supplemental oxygen.
Not only this, Sarbaz Khan managed to climb the 8 thousand 125 meter high Nanga Parbat in 2017, the 8 thousand 611 meter high Two in 2018 and the 8 thousand 163 meter high Broad peak in 2019. The meter high peak was the head. The highest Annapurna mountain, the 8,848 m high Everest and the 8,35 m high Gesher Burm have been summited.
