Pakistan swept the ODI series against Afghanistan




 Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 59 runs in the third and final ODI of the series to claim a clean sweep victory in the series.


Chasing Pakistan's target of 269 runs in the match played in Colombo, the entire Afghanistan team collapsed for 209 runs in the 49th over. Thus, Pakistan continued the winning journey that started from Hambantota in Colombo. Pakistan became the number one cricket team in the world.

From Afghanistan, Mujeebur Rahman played 64 runs off 35 balls, during which he hit 5 sixes and as many fours, unfortunately he was hit by Shaheen Afridi's ball.
